1. How to use your Gail's referral code
- 1
Install the official GAIL's app
Use the App Store or Google Play links below. Start the referral during registration, before making your first bakery order.
- 2
Enter referral code RFMSUMMK
Look for the referral-code field when creating your account. Enter RFMSUMMK and complete registration. If you cannot find the field, check with GAIL's support before ordering.
- 3
Check your referral voucher
Look in the app's rewards section or your email for the unique voucher or QR code. Confirm its item choices, expiry and first-order conditions before visiting.
- 4
Redeem with your first paid order
Show the voucher or QR code to the bakery team. Choose an eligible loaf or regular barista-made drink and redeem it alongside a paid transaction as part of your first order.
2. Is this a Gail's promo code or discount code?
This is a Gail's app referral code, not a website checkout discount. If you are looking for a Gails promo code for free coffee, RFMSUMMK applies to the referral voucher for a drink or loaf with a first paid bakery order. It does not reduce every purchase or apply to delivery orders. Separate loyalty offers have their own terms.
3. Which drinks and loaves qualify?
GAIL's published referee terms include regular barista-made coffee, tea, hot chocolate, matcha, chai and iced drinks. Dairy-free milk alternatives are included at no extra charge.
- Pre-packaged drinks, extra shots, whipped cream and extra modifiers are excluded.
- The referral offers a complimentary loaf. Check the issued voucher for loaf exclusions; the separate welcome-gift terms exclude 2kg, Bruern Farms Sourdough and Good Earth Sourdough.
- Redeem alongside a paid transaction as part of your first order, not as a standalone free item.
- Each voucher is valid for two months from issue and cannot be combined with another offer. Expired codes cannot be reinstated.
- The referral terms cover all GAIL's bakery locations, but not website orders.
4. Gail's referral code not working?
Check your voucher before placing an order. Entering a code and successfully receiving a referral voucher are not the same thing.
- Wrong place: use the official app registration, not a website checkout promo box.
- Code typo: copy RFMSUMMK exactly, without spaces.
- Already registered: GAIL's says the code cannot be added after account creation. Contact support for account issues; do not create duplicate accounts to bypass eligibility.
- Voucher missing: check the app rewards and your email. If it is still absent, contact GAIL's before your first paid order.
- Voucher rejected: check its expiry, eligible items and first-paid-order requirement with the bakery team.
Use the official GAIL's help pages for account-specific issues.
5. Gail's loyalty stamps and birthday treats
These are separate loyalty benefits, not extra rewards for entering the referral code.
Nine visit stamps for a drink or loaf
Scan your app QR code at the till or order through the app to collect stamps when you visit. GAIL's says nine stamps unlock a barista-made drink or loaf, and spending more than £20 earns an extra stamp. This is a visit-based scheme, not one stamp per coffee. Full-stamp-card vouchers must be redeemed within six months of issue.
Birthday sweet treat with purchase
The loyalty programme offers a sweet treat during your birthday month. Add your date of birth to your profile if you want birthday rewards. The published terms require a paid transaction, allow an eligible item from the Morning Goods or Sweets & Cakes ranges, and give 30 days from voucher issue to redeem. Loaf cakes, bags or boxes of cakes or buns, and savoury pastries outside those ranges are excluded.
6. Official sources and offer checks
The reward conditions above were checked against GAIL's published referral and loyalty terms on 14 October 2026. RFMSUMMK is the account-holder's supplied code; we have not completed a new app sign-up or in-bakery redemption during this review. Your issued voucher confirms whether the referral has been applied.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Gail's referral code for 2026?
RFMSUMMK is the Gail's Bakery referral code shared on this page. Enter it when joining the official GAIL's app. The referral voucher gives a complimentary loaf or regular barista-made drink alongside a paid transaction as part of your first order at a GAIL's bakery.
How do I get a free coffee at Gail's?
Join the GAIL's app using referral code RFMSUMMK, check that the referral voucher appears in your rewards or email, then present its QR or voucher code with your first paid in-bakery order. It is not a no-purchase free coffee offer.
Where do I enter a Gail's referral code?
Look for the referral-code field during registration in the official GAIL's app and enter RFMSUMMK before completing sign-up. If it is not visible, check the app's help or ask GAIL's support before placing your first order. The website checkout is not the app referral-code field.
Can I add the referral code after signing up?
No. GAIL's official referral help says the code cannot be added after an account is created. It must be entered during sign-up. If you have an account problem, contact GAIL's support; do not create duplicate accounts to bypass eligibility.
Is a Gail's promo code the same as a referral code?
RFMSUMMK is a loyalty-app referral code, not a general website discount code or a percentage-off voucher. It applies to the first-order referral reward under GAIL's referral terms. Other offers in the app have their own conditions.
Is matcha included in the Gail's referral reward?
Yes. GAIL's published referee terms include regular barista-made coffee, tea, hot chocolate, matcha, chai and iced drinks, with dairy-free milk alternatives at no extra charge. Pre-packaged drinks, extra shots, whipped cream and extra modifiers are excluded.
How long does the Gail's referral voucher last?
GAIL's published referee terms give two months from issue to redeem the voucher, alongside a paid transaction as part of your first order. Each voucher is single-use; expired codes cannot be reinstated. Check the date shown on your own voucher.
Can I redeem the reward online?
No. The referral terms say it is valid at all GAIL's bakery locations, not on website orders. Present the voucher or QR code in the bakery with your first paid order.
How does the Gail's loyalty stamp card work?
Scan your app QR code at the till or order through the app to collect visit-based stamps. Nine stamps unlock a barista-made drink or loaf; spending more than £20 earns an extra stamp. It is not one stamp for every coffee bought.
Does Gail's give a birthday treat?
The loyalty programme offers a birthday-month sweet treat. The published birthday reward terms require a paid transaction and redemption within 30 days of the voucher being issued. This is a separate loyalty benefit, not an extra referral reward.
Why is my Gail's referral code not working?
Check that you entered RFMSUMMK accurately in the official app during registration, rather than a website checkout. Look in your app rewards and email for a voucher. If it is missing, contact GAIL's before ordering; if already issued, check its expiry and first-paid-order conditions.
